1. What DollarSafe™ is — and is not

DollarSafe™ is a personal budgeting tool designed to help you understand how much of your money may be safe to spend today. In these Terms, “DollarSafe™,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the DollarSafe™ service and its operator.

DollarSafe™ is not a bank, lender, money transmitter, financial adviser, insurance provider, or financial institution. It does not hold, move, or control your funds and does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

DollarSafe™ provides budgeting information and recommendations based on available data. You remain responsible for your financial decisions and transactions.

2. Accuracy

DollarSafe™ calculations and recommendations depend on the information available to the service. Information you enter manually may be incomplete or outdated, and information received from connected financial accounts may be delayed, pending, incomplete, or changed by your financial institution.

DollarSafe™ is designed to avoid treating expected money as available before it is received. Even so, Safe to Spend is an estimate and should not be treated as a guarantee that a transaction will be approved, that sufficient funds will be available, or that a payment will clear.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a DollarSafe™ account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
• You may not use DollarSafe™ for unlawful purposes or access another person's financial information without authorization.

4. Subscriptions and billing

DollarSafe™ offers paid subscription plans as described on the Pricing page. Connect is $6.99 per month and Connect Plus is $9.99 per month. Both monthly plans include a 14-day free trial with a payment method required at signup. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically renews at the applicable monthly price.

Connect Plus Annual is $99.99 per year and does not include a free trial. The annual subscription is charged when you subscribe and automatically renews annually unless canceled before the next renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription through the available account or billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already paid. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact support. Prices and plan features may change from time to time, subject to applicable law and any notice requirements.

5. Connected accounts

If you use connected mode, you authorize DollarSafe™ and its financial connectivity providers to access the account data needed to provide connected-account features and calculations. You choose which accounts participate, and you can disconnect an institution from Settings or revoke access through your financial institution or the applicable connectivity provider, where supported. Third-party providers' own terms and privacy policies govern their handling of data; see our Privacy notice for details.

6. Availability

We aim for the service to be available and correct, but we offer no uptime commitment and no service level agreement at this time. Features may change as we improve the service.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. DollarSafe™ is not liable for overdrafts, declined payments, missed bills, fees, or other losses arising from decisions you make using the number. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DollarSafe™'s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. You agree to indemnify DollarSafe™ against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

8. Ending your account

You may stop using DollarSafe™ at any time. You may also delete your account using the available account controls. Account deletion and retention of associated data are handled as described in our Privacy Notice.

We may suspend or terminate access to DollarSafe™ if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our users, or others.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of these Terms and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
